A Message from Fr. Truc
To the Faculty, Students and School Parents of the Graduating Class of 2008
The month of June, for many families, is a time of transition: specially with students graduating from junior high school, high school, colleges, and universities.
Cathedral Chapel School is also experiencing a time of transition for our eighth graders who graduated last Friday. Bishop Clark was the presider at the Friday morning mass. I am sorry that I am away at this time and not able to be there to witness your graduation. Please know that my spirit and prayers are with each one of you. I congratulate all of you on your accomplishments and for having received your acceptances to the various high schools.
I thank those of you, who took the time to actively be members of the student council, participating in the decathlon and for being altar servers, at the school mass and at the Sunday mass at the parish.
I am grateful to all the parents, for all the sacrifices and love conveyed to the students and for having your children attend Cathedral Chapel School. Each school day, you have driven your children to and from school, and to their various activities. This will always be a heroic effort, but these countless times will probably be mostly taken for granted. In many ways, this month is also a time of transition for you, as you see your son or daughter moving on, and experiencing their teenage years in high school. May God continue to bless all of you with wisdom, love and patience.
I thank Ms. Kipp, the faculty and the staff, for a job well done and for all the dedication and commitment. I am thankful for the gifts and talents that you have given to our school, especially to the students, this past school year.
Have a blessed summer. May this Summer be a time of rest and renewal for all of you. May God protect you and keep you safe.
