The committee ministry of Safeguard the Children is involved in activities pertaining to the norms provided by the Archdiocese and to ascertain that all volunteers are in compliance. They are dedicated to "protecting all of God's children and young people."

This ministry is supported by the Office of Safeguard the Children of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
