Catholic Church Since 1927
The Senior Ministry at Cathedral Chapel serves the homebound and senior members of our parish. Created in early 2018, this ministry aims to provide fellowship, spread love, compassion and joy.
Activities include monthly luncheon themed events held in the parish rectory. Since the pandemic hit our nation, the luncheon events continued by delivering individually prepared meals to our senior parishioners.
The Senior Ministry involves the following activities:
Eucharistic Ministers who give Holy Communion and visit the sick in the their private homes and convalescent hospitals and institutions. Currently, the parish serves Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles and other hospitals/care centers that call our office needing help.
If you would like to request Holy Communion to be brought to a family member, we ask you to please submit the information by filling out this form. You could also use this form to request a visit from our pastor, Fr. Truc.
The person submitting the form must be an immediate family member or an authorized caregiver. The person for whom the request is being made must be willing to receive Holy Communion.
Please be aware the a staff from the parish office will follow up on this petition and will be put on a list for Ministers' review. Appointments with Fr. Truc are based on availability. Thank you and God bless.
